Favourite Post-bout Wind Down:

Playing Frogger in the traffic on the way to the pub for post bout Derby Talk and Pipsqueak Cider.

Favourite Off-Skates Activities:

Talking about Derby, adjusting wheels/trucks, changing laces, shopping for derby attire, Derby committee activities...you get the idea.

Earliest Roller-skating Memory:

Skating around in the carport in size 1 high-top skates with blue wheels. The picture on the box was of a pink version of the skates...I always wished I had the pink ones but loves my skates regardless.

Memorable Derby-Related Dream:

I dream of scrimmage. This is often confusing as scrimmaging can be very confusing in real life as it is, but throw in a little REM activity and the game gets even more involved (especially when your team members keep morphing and changing jerseys mid Jam!!).

Origin of Derby Name:

I wanted my name to be a play on words and had been racking my brains but alas, I seemed to be lacking that genius - UNTIL I was watching NCIS and Ducky through out the term 'Cadaver' (corpse) and it came to me: Lady Cadaver - akin to Lady Godiva, but with a touch of rigor mortis.

Bio:

Lady Cadaver - a noblewoman, who according to urban legend, rolls partially naked through the streets of Adelaide in order to gain a remission of the oppressive expectations of "ladies", as enforced by such wet-blankets as Gill Harbord and Rosemary Shrager of Eggleston Hall.
